South Dakota State University (SDSU) is actively seeking two (2) highly dedicated, people-centered Human Resource professionals to join our team! Be a part of a dynamic team and provide exceptional customer service to the campus community.
These positions are located in Brookings, South Dakota.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Sponsorship is not available for this position.
Job Responsibilities: To provide high level of customer service support for a variety of human resource activities in a Shared Service Center environment, including onboarding, validating I9s, originating EPAFs, enhanced recruitment support, and timekeeping assistance. Analytical, problem-solving, critical-thinking, technology, interpersonal, communication, organizational and customer-service skills are essential.

- Human Resource functions.
- Computer software applications and systems (Word, Excel, Outlook).

- Develop processes to implement program objectives.
- Exercise independent judgement in evaluating situations and making decisions.
- Communicate information concisely and efficiently.
- Handle high volume of work during peak times.
- Multi-task and shift focus without disrupting work production to meet competing demands/deadlines/timelines.
- Understand the impact of work to employees’ access, benefits, leave and pay and to maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
- Demonstrate flexibility and ability to easily adapt to change.
