We had a great virtual session on AI & HR with Michael Vandervort. A few highlights:
- If you aren’t currently using AI, you or your company likely will be soon. Whether you like it or not!
- The age of AI has begun. It is a turning point in the working world – like typesetting or the mobile phone.
- There are some great things about AI, but it isn’t perfect. You need to double check its work!
- How could HR use AI? Answer HR related questions, draft legal language for handbooks or policies, summarize lengthy legal documents, create a strike response plan. Again, be sure to double check AI’s work for bias, tone, accuracy!
- AI will affect jobs! You need to get out ahead of it and determine how you will use AI & how your employees might use it. Create policies now to provide guidance (use AI to create your draft 😁)
- Don’t just replace jobs with AI. Figure out how AI can enhance their work first.
